S-FIX 50MM CALIBRATION SPHERE
The large diameter of the 50mm Calibration sphere makes it the easiest way to calibrate your portable CMM measuring arm from the likes of Faro & Romer.
Non-standard probes such as extended versions and points can be calibrated much easier and more reliably than with the cone method. The larger size of this sphere increases the ease of use.
The calibration sphere and stand can either be attached to a suitable surface using the included magnetic base or attached directly to another surface using the M8 threaded underside.
Method:
To calibrate use the “Sphere method,” follow the on-screen instructions, probing the sphere 15 times where specified, holding the arm in 4 different orientations.

Sphericity: 2.5μm
