    Description

    Vintage Colt Firearms Co. Recurve Bow RH 62" 44#  Draw Weight N2 1361. For about 7 years in the 1960s' Colt sold recurve bows. The early production years were high quality recurves made for Colt by Wing Archery. You can ID these bows because the Wing-made bows included Hartford Conn. in the logo. Note you can look up the history of Colt recurves online to verify this info. This is one of the Wing Archery for Colt Firearms recurves and rare because it was listed in the first two catalogs only ( 1961 and 1962 ). It was advertised as both a target and hunting bow and was an expensive bow at the time (.95). The 62" was the shortest of the National Match recurves with a 5 1/2" sight window. See photos.
