Description

One Vintage Pro Medalist Hunter recurve by Hoyt Archery and Earl Hoyt from the late 1960's. Despite some defects like screw holes and flaky label and finish, this straddles the line between collector's bow and best friend. RH, 50#, 62", Serial # 6PMH-185.  Not many of these out there, other than this and my 3 others in storage at 48, 52, and 62#.
Hoyt during this period was the premier target and field archery recurve.  I had a 62" x 25# as a youth and a 69" x 34# as a yound adult.
Beautiful rosewood riser with 12 laminations. Center stripe is orange.  Perfect big game hunting weight. Has a Flipper 2 rest. Forensic exam tells me the prior owner was underspined, or had too heavy a broadhead, as the rest is padded out well past center. Get it?
Five inch stabilizers included. If you don't want them, let me know and I will ship for free (by charging you and putting cash rebate in with the bow).  As a big wood riser, it's pretty stable without them.
Slowly working through my collection here and on FB 'Everything Traditional' so save me as a seller to see some nice bows and other gear. Will take me a year.
